Skim-A-Round warrants it's products free from defects in materials and workmanship.
The Skim-A-Round "ALL-IN-ONE" comes with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects. This warranty covers early material degradation and structural defects that occur during normal use. The warranty does not cover discoloration due to use in chlorinated water or any damage caused by improper use, installation, maintenance or handling of the product. Any damage caused by improper water chemistry is not covered under this warranty. Parts that become defective during the warranty period except as a result of improper use, installation, maintenance or handling of the product will be repaired or replaced.
The "Original", "As Vac Attachment" & "Ultimate" models come with a 1-Year Warranty on all parts. This warranty covers early material degradation and structural defects. Maintenance products, including brushes and nets are not covered under warranty. Skim-A-Round will certainly replace any missing item(s) or item(s) delivered with manufacturer defects, if reported within 72 hours of delivery. However, damage and wear due to improper or heavy use of brushes/nets are not covered under warranty, as these items are intended to be replaced periodically.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Skim-A-Round so we offer you a 1 year warranty. Under this warranty, any defective/damaged parts will be exchanged, at no charge to the customer. This warranty does not extend the 15-day trial period, and does not provide pre-paid postage for refunds, under any circumstance. Under this warranty, all necessary replacement parts will be shipped from Skim-A-Round via USPS to the customer, at no charge, along with a pre-paid USPS shipping label, to exchange the damaged item. Under no circumstances, will pre-paid postage be issued to return an item for a refund - Only to exchange the damaged item. To initiate the exchange process, please fill out the Warranty Claim Form. You will receive confirmation that the replacement part has shipped, within 24 hours.
TRIAL PERIOD & RETURN POLICY
Skim-A-Round is one of the only pool product manufacturers to offer a trial period for pool cleaners. During this period, our surface cleaners can be returned for a refund even if they were used in your pool. Skim-A-Round guarantees that all Skim-A-Round owners receive at least 15 days from the purchase date or 10 full days from the delivery date (whichever is greater) to use the product and determine if they are satisfied with the results. Skim-A-Round items can be returned during this period for a full refund, NO RESTOCKING FEES. Lookup your order at Skim-A-Round.com/returns to request Return Authorization. If you are having trouble requesting an RMA and your Skim-A-Round was delivered within the last 10 days, please contact us at Skim-A-Round.com/contact. After this trial period, the item is considered used and no longer in original condition, and is not eligible for a refund. We cannot make any exceptions to the trial period length. Items accepted for a refund must also be in original condition & packaging, including the safety packaging inserts.
Your item must be in transit to the address provided in your RMA within 72 hours of RMA approval. Your RMA # must be written on the exterior of the package in order to link the package to your account. The customer will be responsible for paying the postage for returning a non-defective item.
All items that are not manufactured by Skim-A-Round, including floor vacuums & filters socks will not be eligible for a refund, once the package has been opened. Any manufacturer defects on items that are not manufactured by Skim-A-Round must be reported directly to the manufacturer via the manufacturer's warranty registration card. Skim-A-Round does not provide additional warranty on items that are not manufactured by Skim-A-Round, Inc. and cannot accept used items that are not manufactured by Skim-A-Round.

ORDER FULFILLMENT & TRANSIT TIME
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately following your order placement. All orders placed on Skim-A-Round.com are processed on the following business day (Monday-Friday). Once your order is processed you will receive a 2nd confirmation email, which will include a tracking number. If you do not receive this 2nd email on the business day following your order, please check the spam/junk/clutter folder of the email address provided at checkout. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing/fulfillment. You will receive your package 2-5 business days after the order is fulfilled. The Skim-A-Round "Original", "Vac Attachment" & "Ultimate" ship from Naples, FL within 24 hours of placing an order, via FEDEX Home Delivery. Shipping usually takes 1 business day within Florida and up to 4 business days across the country. We ship all orders within 24 hours from Naples, FL. The Skim-A-Round "All-In-One" ships via FEDEX Smartpost. Shipping usually takes 2 business days within Florida and up to 5 business days across the country.
Since we strive to ship your order as quickly as possible, we start processing your order as soon as you click “Place Order”. It may be possible to cancel your order during processing but once it moves to the shipping process, it cannot be canceled. Orders must be cancelled before the item(s) has shipped. If your order is already in process at one of our warehouses, it may be impossible to locate and prevent shipment. If your order has already shipped, please refer to the information above to request a return. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
